BREAK THE INTERNET is an independent experiment. It is not approved, endorsed or verified by Guinness World Records. We are not claiming a current record. Participation does not guarantee a record, certification, prize or personal email.

Participation

The counter records accepted clicks from distinct browser identities, not site visits or verified individual humans. One participation per browser identity. Clearing cookies or using another device can defeat deduplication; abuse, bots, automation and manipulation are prohibited. Counts may need correction during an evidence audit.

Optional contact

You do not need to provide contact details. All optional permissions can be withdrawn. Email delivery is not configured, and no message or record outcome is guaranteed. See Privacy for data handling.

Availability

The experiment may pause or end. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that any record body will accept these measurements. Nothing excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
